The Brandon Agency Wins 2019 “Best of Show” and Seven Additional Awards in American Advertising Awards Competition

The Brandon Agency, the only certified brand-planning agency in the Carolinas, took home the 2019 “Best in Show” and seven other awards, in the annual Coastal Carolinas division of the American Advertising Federation.

The agency won awards for creative excellence in a broad range of categories including print collateral, website design, print advertising, email marketing, and trade show booth design. The American Advertising Awards ranks among the largest annual advertising competitions in the United States.

The agency captured the “Best in Show” award for the “Brand Standards” digital and print book it created for frogg toggs ®, a leading manufacturer of lightweight, breathable, and affordable rain gear. The book features graphic design and text elements and includes information about the company’s logo use, color palettes, and appropriate product usage.

Additional awards included three Gold Awards for creation of the frogg toggs ® brand standards and wader print ads and the Lesueur Vegetables website. A Gold Award recognizes creative excellence at the highest level and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the category.

The agency also captured four Silver Awards given for entries considered outstanding and worthy of recognition. These awards honored the agency’s work for Little Green Sprout’s Organics website, Hook + Gaff King Tide Watch email campaign, a Sportfisher II print ad, and the frogg toggs ® trade show booth design.

Sponsored by the Washington, D.C.-based American Advertising Federation, the American Advertising Awards recognize exceptional advertising in print, broadcast, out-of-home, Internet and public service advertising. The program rank among the industry’s largest creative competitions with over 40,000 entries each year. A panel of judges with the American Advertising Awards used a scoring process to evaluate all creative dimensions of every entry and selects the most creative entries in each category.
