The Brandon Agency announces its marketing partnership with Hobcaw Barony — a 16,000-acre Grand Strand property dedicated to research and education. The agency will work as a strategic partner, providing public relations, paid media, design and content creation.

The historic property located on the coast near Georgetown, South Carolina, was set aside over 50 years ago by benefactor Belle W. Baruch as a center for “teaching and/or research in forestry, marine biology, and the care and propagation of wildlife and flora and fauna in South Carolina.” Hobcaw Barony continues this vision today by hosting researchers from over 50 colleges, universities and research organizations, including students and faculty from throughout the United States, Europe and China. Along with researchers, guests are welcome to visit the property for scheduled programs or guided tours.

As one of the most experienced marketing firms on the East Coast, The Brandon Agency has been given the objective to raise awareness, increase visitation and recruit volunteers for Hobcaw Barony.

The Belle W. Baruch Foundation is the sole owner of Hobcaw Barony, whose 16,000 acres encompass a rich diversity of every common ecosystem found on the South Carolina coast, making it an unparalleled site for research in the environmental sciences. In addition, there are over 70 cultural sites on the property, including cemeteries, former slave cabins and multiple Baruch homes, all providing a time capsule for educators.

“We are honored to work with such a historical landmark in our Grand Strand area,” said Tyler Easterling, president of The Brandon Agency. “Hobcaw Barony holds value through its historical conservation and its famous Hobcaw House, where Winston Churchill, Franklin Roosevelt and other leaders of the 20thcentury once stayed. We are so excited to be a part of growing not only Hobcaw Barony, but also the minds of the people who visit this gorgeous property.”
