The Brandon Agency, the most creatively awarded agency in the Carolinas, has been selected as the agency of record for the Halifax Area Advertising Authority which does business as the Daytona Beach Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) effective October 1, 2017.

The Brandon Agency will manage a range of marketing initiatives for the CVB, including creative campaign development, advertising production and paid media management and execution. The agency will also put a heightened focus on cross-channel content development, blog posts and email marketing.

Daytona Beach is known as the iconic home of American stock car racing with an area racing history that dates back as early as 1903. This legacy continues today in the form of the Daytona International Speedway and NASCAR’s Daytona 500, a race celebrating its 60th Anniversary in 2018. Drawing more than 9 million visitors a year, the Daytona Beach area is experiencing a renaissance with the development of new resorts and several attractions opening across the coastal destination.

The Brandon Agency is one of the most experienced destination-marketing firms on the East Coast and is widely recognized as the driving force behind the ascent of Myrtle Beach as the nation’s top golf and vacation destination. The agency has also positively impacted other popular cities including Beaufort, S.C., Rock Hill, S.C. and Wilmington, N.C. The CVB account marks the agency’s most significant client expansion in the state of Florida in the firm’s 58-year history.

“We are extremely excited to be working with Daytona Beach,” said Scott Brandon, CEO of The Brandon Agency. “We really understand the destination as well as the consumers they need to attract in order to help them grow and prosper. We look forward to putting our experience and creativity to work.”
