The Brandon Agency’s client, Beaufort, S.C., topped Coastal Living’s second annual list of “America’s Happiest Seaside Towns.” Coastal Living announced the win on the “TODAY” show and the June issue featuring Beaufort hit stands on May 17.

Coastal Living editors unveiled their list of the 10 “Happiest Seaside Towns” in the February 2013 issue and invited America to vote for their favorite. Consumers could vote hourly from January 10 to February 28 online or via smartphone. Fans rallied around their favorite towns and voted often. Beaufort came in first place followed by Harwich Port, Massachusetts.

“We’re excited about the designation awarded to us by Coastal Living’s readers as ‘America’s Happiest Seaside Town,’” said Robb Wells, Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce’s tourism division executive. “Beaufort’s appeal to locals and tourists alike is reflected in its Southern charm and history that we’re all very proud of and eager to share.”
