The Brandon Agency, the most creatively awarded agency in the Carolinas, received two Spark! Awards for their exceptional work in the Influencer Marketing and Logo Design categories this year. The 2020 honors mark the company’s sixth consecutive year taking home the signature award from the American Marketing Association’s Charleston, S.C. chapter.

The Spark! winning logo for Winyah Bay Brewing Company features unique elements that honor the business’s Georgetown, S.C. home – the 3rd-oldest town in the state. Featuring a nod to its centuries-old history welcoming shrimp boats and fish trawlers, and the nearby iconic Shell Island lighthouse, the award-winning design pays tribute to both new and old characteristics of the beloved coastal town.

The agency’s winning influencer marketing campaign helped N.C.-founded phone accessory startup, SpiiderGriip, take off on social media. The challenge was steep: With a limited budget, The Brandon Agency sought to promote a new product in an already large and overcrowded market. But with a targeted strategy and crowd-sourcing influencer platforms in their arsenal, the agency delivered – to the tune of over 2 million customers reached at less than 10 cents per engagement.

The Brandon Agency’s 2020 award-winning work was selected from over 100 applicants. Previous Spark! Awards for the company also include Best Print Ad, Best Promotional Video, Best Commercial Photography, and Best Direct Mail.

“Creativity is a driving force behind everything we do, and the Spark! Awards are a testament to our team’s unique approach to delivering award-winning results,” said Scott Brandon, The Brandon Agency’s CEO. “We’re always thinking about where and how to tell stories in the most impactful way, and we look forward to new opportunities to keep pushing ourselves forward in 2021.”
