The Brandon Agency, the most creatively awarded agency in the Carolinas over the last decade, is pleased to welcome Craddock Close as a Social Media Associate, Daniel MacDonald as a Media Coordinator and Jake Freedman as a Public Relations Associate.

Joining the Agency’s Charlotte, North Carolina office, Close brings niche experience to the social media team. In his new role as a social media associate, he will provide strategic social media services to support integrated communications programs for agency clients focused in the outdoor industry. Close graduated from the University of South Carolina in May of 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in sport and entertainment management. Throughout the course of his business career, he has accrued nearly four years of industry experience interning for companies such as BlueCap Marketing and the Charlotte Hornets.

MacDonald, the Agency’s newest media coordinator, will provide support and follow-up to all media personnel for client inquiries, as well as prepare media plans, presentations and research projects. MacDonald attended the College of Charleston, graduating in 2017 as an English major with a concentration in creative fiction. Previously interning in Washington, D.C. for the office of Congressman Tom Rice and working for the City of Myrtle Beach’s Sports Tourism department, MacDonald hopes to leverage his acquired skills into his new role at The Brandon Agency.

Last, but not least, the Agency expanded its public relations team with the addition of Freedman as a public relations associate. He will be working in tandem with the team to support client’s public relations programs with services including news release writing, media database building, media relations and coverage monitoring. Earning a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Coastal Carolina University in May of 2018, Freedman interned in the public relations department at The Brandon Agency during his spring semester before graduating. He soon discovered an interest in this field and decided to continue his career where it had started.

“Craddock, Daniel and Jake each bring fervor for their marketing fields and will allow us to continue to provide exceptional service to our clients,” said Tyler Easterling, president and COO of The Brandon Agency. “As our organization continues to grow, we are looking forward to the contributions each of these young men will make to help further our persistence for evolution and success.”

The Brandon Agency has been the driving force behind many well-known brands including Green Giant, frogg toggs, Fish Hippie, CresCom Bank, Santee Cooper, HTC, ScanSource, Brittain Resorts & Hotels and developing and delivering tangible results that positively impact business.
