The Brandon Agency, the most creatively awarded agency in the Carolinas over the last decade, was honored with the “Best Print Ad” award at the Charleston American Marketing Association (AMA) 2018 Spark! Awards, held at Harborside East in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina on Thursday, March 8.

The Charleston chapter of the American Marketing Association honors creative and marketing excellence in the Charleston community at the annual Spark! Awards. This year, there were hundreds of applicants but only a handful of agencies and businesses were chosen as finalists in 21 categories.

The agency’s winning print ad was part of a campaign for Flagler Beaches and the Palm Coast, which consists of nearly 21 miles of beach between St. Augustine, FL to Daytona Beach. The beautiful Palm Coast was ravaged during Hurricane Matthew in the fall of 2016 and extensive beach re-nourishment and refurbishment has been underway ever since. The Brandon Agency created a campaign to educate visitors and locals alike about the importance of the current beach re-nourishment and sand dune preservation efforts underway.

The agency was also a finalist in the “Best Public Relations” category for the Dave & Buster’s Grand Opening in Myrtle Beach and in the “Best Commercial Photography” category for the Colorado lifestyle photography for frogg toggs.

“We are extremely proud our team and the work we produce for our clients, and it’s an absolute honor to have our peers in the community recognize us,” said Scott Brandon, CEO of The Brandon Agency. “These awards are a testament to our agency’s hard work and dedication and we are looking forward to next year’s Spark awards.”
