When it comes to brand exposure, uninterrupted time to pitch a product or business concept on television is as good as it gets – and CNBC’s Shark Tankâ„¢ can be a silver bullet for many startups to get noticed. Regardless of whether or not the business owners leave the ‘tank’ with an investor deal, what happens next is critical. For Shark Tankâ„¢ contenders, investing in a marketing strategy that channels Shark Tankâ„¢ momentum into sustainable sales growth is a smart first step.

SubSafe

The Brandon Agency has recently enjoyed the privilege of supporting such a company in their effort to leverage Shark Tankâ„¢ exposure. We engaged with Desiree Haller of SubSafe, maker of the innovative sandwich containers, following their appearance on the show to execute a successful digital marketing campaign that would drive sales. This experience quickly generated an opportunity to support other Shark Tankâ„¢ hopefuls when Desiree introduced The Brandon Agency’s team to her brother, Tim Neil – inventor and founder of Boat Gadget.

Following these three, Wine Safe, a product used for preserving, protecting and transporting wine bottles, and Social Bands, a nonverbal physical contact preference indicator fit for the social-distancing era, joined our startup client roster and also enjoyed increased exposure and sales as a result of The Brandon Agency’s creative, paid social programs. With experience working with these five exciting new companies, The Brandon Agency is looking forward to engaging more startups down the road to achieve similar success.

“For startup clients specifically, we have found a niche in executing paid social programs geared toward generating online sales,” said Barry Sanders, the agency’s New Business Director. “Each are trusting us with a healthy investment in paid campaigns per month, and as a result are seeing about a 5:1 return on ad spend. These clients have an amazing and creative entrepreneurial spirit that has been infectious across our agency, and we look forward to joining forces with more Shark Tankâ„¢ alum and other startups in the future.”
