With new client acquisitions and growing requests for services, The Brandon Agency is bringing on new talent to support the Content and Interactive teams. Kim Leaston takes on the role of Public Relations Coordinator in the Charlotte, N.C. office, and Matt Davidson joins as Paid Search Specialist at TBA’s Charleston, S.C. headquarters.

As public relations coordinator, Leaston will contribute to the public relations team by developing and executing PR campaigns; including researching, developing and pitching editorial content on behalf of the agency and its clients; conducting media relations; and developing and maintaining client reports.

A Boston native, Kim completed her undergraduate degree at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, majoring in Communication Studies with a concentration in Public Relations and minor in Journalism. While completing her degree, Leaston honed her skills as a news staff reporter for UNC Charlotte’s Niner Times, acted as Director of Marketing for Charlotte Athletic’s Student 49er Club, and interned for Dallas-based interior designer Jacquin Headen, as well as the Charlotte Symphony. Her previous positions include Marketing Manager for Northeastern University, Communications Manager for Sozo Gallery, and Patron Relations Assistant for Charlotte Ballet.

In his role as paid search specialist, Davidson will manage the paid search marketing efforts for clients on search and display marketing platforms. He will work to effectively drive client revenue growth through each paid search channel.

Matt, originally from Charleston, S.C., attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications. He went on to complete a Digital Marketing & Social Media program at the College of Charleston where he was introduced to paid search and digital marketing. Davidson worked at WCBD-TV 2 in Charleston, SC as a photojournalist, and Levelwing in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. as a Search Engine Marketing Analyst. Before joining TBA, Matt served as SEM Analyst for BoomTown where he saw his account load grow to nearly 700 managed accounts and cost-per-lead drop every year for nearly 5 years.

Welcome to the TBA team, Kim and Matt!
